Returns Policy

At IslandSport, customer satisfaction is our top priority. If you’re not fully satisfied with your purchase, we offer return and refund options under certain conditions as detailed below.

1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return for items purchased on our website if the following conditions are met:

  • The item has not been used, worn, washed, or altered.

  • It is returned in its original packaging, with all tags attached.

  • The return request is made within 14 days of receiving the item.

2. Non-Returnable Items

Some items are not eligible for return, including:

  • Customized items (e.g., jerseys with printed names or numbers).

  • Sale or promotional items, unless they are defective or damaged.

3. Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer service team at islandsport.ca@gmail.com with your order number, reason for return, and proof of purchase.

  2. Once your request is approved, we will provide a return label or detailed return instructions.

  3. Carefully pack the item in its original packaging and send it to the address provided.

  4. Once received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your return.

4. Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to a defect or an error on our part, we will cover the return shipping costs.

  • If the return is voluntary (e.g., size change, change of mind), return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

5. Return Processing Time

After we receive your return, please allow up to 7 business days for inspection and processing.
You will receive a confirmation email once the return has been approved or declined.

6. Refunds

If your return is approved:

  • The refund will be issued to the original method of payment.

  • Processing time: 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

  • Initial shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to a product defect or our error.

7. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
👉 If you need a different size or product, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order separately.

8. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

  • Contact us at islandsport.ca@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving the item.

  • Please include photos of the issue.

  • We will either replace the item or issue a full refund, including shipping fees.

 

9. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can only be cancelled if they have not yet been shipped and if the product is not personalized.

  • For customized products, you have 24 hours after order confirmation to request a cancellation.

  • If the order has already shipped, please follow the return process above.

10. Legal Exceptions

As a consumer in Canada, you are entitled to the protections provided under applicable consumer protection laws, especially for distance selling (e-commerce).
In case of a dispute, Canadian law applies, particularly the laws of the province in which IslandSport operates.
